ECO VILLAGE The site is based in the middle of the informal / low-cost housing area of Ivory Park. We were requested by the former mayor of Midrand to create
an African model of sustainable land use and environmental awareness.
We established a wilderness zoned park; ridding the area of prevalent disease carrying vermin through the reestablishment of habitats supportive of natural predators. The Eco Village serves as a community
centre for banking, stokvel and small business and skills development.
We have been managing this site as a free service for the past four
