Lakeland Estate

Within a former maize farm, we developed a wetland system flanking the Hartbeespoort Dam shoreline – the very first estate developed here. 

 

Our objective was to simulate elements of the Crocodile River prior to the dam being constructed.  We created a wilderness trail zone with bird hides in amongst the grasslands and woodlands we restored.
